Public Relations - Emilia-Romagna Tourist Board

Publicity Matters was appointed in October 2007 by APT Servizi, the tourist board for the region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, to represent the provinces of Rimini and Forli-Cesena.

PM’s brief was to promote the region to the British national, regional, food, travel and female press as a beautiful, historic resort with a great tradition in local cuisine, wine and spas.  PM worked with APT Servizi to organise press trips to the region, issued press releases and features, organised competitions with leading magazines and developed relationships with key media contacts.

The campaign has resulted in huge success, reaching audiences of over 20 million people, in national and international print, web and radio coverage.  Coverage highlights to date include The Sunday Telegraph, The Times, Cosmopolitan and BBC online and radio.
